JOOMLABEAUTYcom: First “Crown” for Van Eldijk Studio’s

All members of the JOOMLABEAUTY Jury are proud to tell the whole Joomla Community which Website is awarded for the first "Joomlabeauty Crown" (and a nice book as a small price).All members of the JOOMLABEAUTY Jury are proud to tell the whole Joomla Community which Website is awarded for the first "Joomlabeauty Crown" (and a nice book as a small price).

The winners are Robert Roose/ Thomas van Eldijk and the Van Eldijk Studio's with there July 2006 Submission of www.vaneldijk.nl.

The Van Eldijk Studio is a small design studio in Utrecht, The Netherlands that has specialized in designing and creating Joomla websites. Their main goal is to create the best looking websites with the best open source CMS. The open character of Joomla appeals to them, because they are also open theirselves. In their way of working and communicating to the client.

For there awarded website they used Joomla 1.0.10, for the dropdown menu JA_TransMenu V2.0 and OpenSEF to create the nice looking Url's. Further informations about the development process can be found at the JOOMLABEAUTY Article Section.

After a hard but fair competition  the Van Eldijk Studio's reached 81 of 100 possible points, followed by www.hoteljob-deutschland.de with 76,5 of 100 points and www.schuss-home.at with 74 out of 100 points.

The price for our July 2006 Winner is the book "Bulletproof Web Design : Improving flexibility and protecting against worst-case scenarios with XHTML and CSS" by Dan Cederholm.

In the meantime the August 2006 Submission-Time has started. Everybody who wants to showcase there high-quality Joomla-based website – please submit to JOOMLABEAUTY. Next to the August Crown we will give away one CD-copie of the album "WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY I AM, THAT's WHAT I'M NOT" by the Arctic Monkeys.
